God’s Grace Is Available for You – Sis Joyce

Q: My husband and I are like boarders in a boarding house.

——-

From Sis Joyce:

You said you are like boarders for two weeks. For me, we’ve been in that situation for three years now but I’m thankful he is still coming home. One time I told him, Naawa nako sa yo (kasi he comes home 2am/3am then again he will go out at 5am, that is an everyday routine. Minsan nasabi ko na sa kanya, “I’m not sending you away but I’m getting tired for you.” I wanted to tell him, “If you’re safe in that place, you can stay there, because I am concerned for your safety when you drive at 2am everyday.”

I also told him that God is good because He lets him come home safe to his family. Praise God for that.

Sis, continue to pray always, cry to the Lord… doon tayo magsumbong. He knows what you are going through. He won’t leave you nor forsake you.

Where God brings us, His grace will sustain us.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Rom‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I am letting God’s word change my mindset.

Sis, it is possible. I am living proof. If not for God, I won’t be able to endure staying in that “boarding house,” but I am filled by God’s grace and love.

My kids and I spent Christmas with my family, that’s our routine and we come back to Manila for the New Year.

This year, my husband did not join us; he only came for the last two hours of Christmas Eve but I’m thankful for those two hours —- buo pa rin kami [we were still complete].

“The Lord will fight for you when you are silent, Sis (Ex 14:4).

Be a praying wife Sis, not a worrying wife. Submit everything to God. Sya bahala doon [He is in control/ will take charge].

God bless you and your kids, Sis.

Happy New year to all of us. May God’s grace pour out to us this coming year and sustain the gifts of the Holy Spirit so we will be always a person that is Spirit-filled.❤️❤️

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Eph‬ ‭5:15-20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  1. Yes. Your marriage is 3 part covenant with Jesus. Jesus remains faithful to you in this covenant and all you do to be the wife He wants you to be is unto Him alone. It so happens it is your earthly husband you see but Your heavenly husband/ Bridegroom (Isa 54:5), Jesus is your Rewarder. Psalm 15:1, 4 “Who may live on God’s holy mountain? … those who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind;”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“For your Maker is your husband— the Lord Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.” Isaiah‬ ‭54:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    1. Amen! The Founder of this platform is Jesus Christ by whose provision and help this was established by His servants! Praise God! Thank you for your encouragement and for stopping by!🙏
