Take away: “JESUS ANCHOR OF MY SOUL”
Philippians 3: 13-14
13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Why do I have to anchor my soul in Jesus?
Because I know that Jesus will keep me secure and he will defend me in times that the storm is raging. So even if we are in a raging storm be steadfast with our faith that no matter what the enemy will do so long as Jesus is with us we are already victorious. Be thankful that the storm is raging because this is the time where we feel God’s love the most ….. yung alam na alam mong mahal na mahal ka ni Jesus. He is the only one we can rely on who will love us unconditionally and who will never break our trust. What happened in past let it remain in the past. Fix your eyes in Jesus and move forward. Focus on our walk with Jesus and aim to finish well so at the end of the road we will hear Him say …… “well done good and faithful servant!”
