If God loves us then why does HE allow us to suffer hardships?
- To mold our character, and build our faith in HIM (James 1:2-4).
- To discipline us- as an earthly father disciplines his chilld so does our heavenly Father disciplines us (Hebrews 12:6).
- God prepares/ equips us for our mission (Hebrews 13:21, 2 Corinthians 1:4).
- To display HIS glory (John 11:40).
What should we do then during these trial season in our lives? We W.A.I.T!
W-alk with HIM continuously (Colossians 2:6).
A-cknowledge HE is in control (Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 55:8-9)
I-surrender!!!- Surrender everything to the Lord (Psalm 46:10, Psalm 55:22).
T-rust that HE always has our best interest at heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).
HE wants us to trust and wait on HIM.
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings
as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Whenever we feel tired and weary of waiting, let us go back to HIS Word and draw strength from HIS promises.
Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold tightly without wavering
to the hope we affirm,
for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
Let us keep on keeping on… ’Wag bibitiw sa Lord, dear ka-praying wives!
