Desire to Migrate Since Husband Has Left

Q: My question po sana ako, I am planning to migrate with my kids to [other country]. I wanted to leave na because I have a lot of job offers there. Husband is cohabiting with his mistress and her kids.

Dear Sis, may the Lord guide and direct you with your plan. He is the only one who can say where you should be. May He make clear to you what His will is. I pray this for you:
“This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭48:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If I had the same options, I would also want to go to New Zealand if I had opportunity though I would exercise care in seeking the Lord’s perfect (not permissive) will on where I should be.

In fact this is what the Lord gave me when my naturalized foreign citizen mother asked me to live with her:

““As surely as I live,” declares the Lord, “even if you…were a signet ring on my right hand, I would still pull you off. I will deliver you into the hands of those who want to kill you, those you fear… I will hurl you and the mother who gave you birth into another country, where neither of you was born, and there you both will die. You will never come back to the land you long to return to.”” Jer‬ ‭22:24-27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I would go to Genesis where God says “it is not good for man to be alone” and the echoing reminders at WOW of Deonna’s message,” Wives, do not abandon your post.”

Lot chose for himself what looked like a better, more progressive place but it wasn’t necessarily the better option.

“Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east.” Gen‬ ‭13:10-11‬aNIV‬‬

The place we need to be in is where God is. There is nothing wrong with provision and the ability to produce wealth comes from God. (deut 8:18) but it may not be the one and only factor to consider as prosperity can be as much a blessing as it can be a curse depending on if God is using it for our good or if Satan is using it to drive us away from God’s will.

There are hard questions to reflect on but the Lord will be faithful to answer you. The best plan is to find out what God has planned and then stick to it.

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭30:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11-13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Victory is yours in Christ.
“So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬
