Q: I made an agreement for certain things my husband should do which my in-laws are signing. This is the advice of my legal counsel.

Sis, Yung mga ultimatum and any direct or indirect means to control husband or other person medyo not effective kundi counter-productive.
Yung marriage contract ninyo kasama si Almighty God doon at pinirmahan ng husband mo pero did husband follow it out of fear of the God who can take his life or discipline him? Will your husband be more scared of the signatories of the new agreement?
But God is the One who can do whatever it takes to produce in your husband godly sorrow that brings genuine repentance that leads to salvation. 2 Cor 7:10

“For God does speak—now one way, now another— though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword. “Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones, so that their body finds food repulsive and their soul loathes the choicest meal. Their flesh wastes away to nothing, and their bones, once hidden, now stick out. They draw near to the pit, and their life to the messengers of death.
“God does all these things to a person— twice, even three times— to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them. “Pay attention, Job, and listen to me; be silent, and I will speak. If you have anything to say, answer me; speak up, for I want to vindicate you. But if not, then listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.””
Job 33:14-22, 29-33 NIV
When you MAKE your husband sign paper, he thinks he’s only dealing with you. Do you think sa tingin nya hindi ka nya kaya?
But when you keep seeking Jesus and allow Jesus to transform you, when you become consistently Christlike, your husband will see he is no longer dealing with flesh. He will see God’s power.
My prayer is you will not fight flesh to flesh where there is no victory. Not by might, not by power (fleshly control towards husband) but by the Spirit of God. Zech 4:6
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NIV
