“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”
Psalms 139:23-24 NLT
We know that God sees our heart and there is nothing that we can hide from Him. Psalmist David who is known to be a man after God’s own heart, is far from perfect, but it was his greatest desire to align His ways and be led to God’s righteous path so that he may spend eternal life with Him.
What about you? What convictions do you have that will keep you aligned and accountable to your Master? Do you have the courage to ask God to reveal the things that dishonors Him, and those hidden areas in your heart that are still not completely surrendered to Him? Will you ask Him to change your heart, to cleanse and purify it, that you may pursue only the things of God that truly matter?
Will you be willing to remove all previous excuses, other idols and allow God to work in and through you that you may take seriously the role and responsibility He has purposely placed in your heart? In partnership with and by the power of the Holy Spirit, let us be completely sold out for God and bring Him all the glory.
🙏 Oh Sovereign Lord, I humbly bow before You today, to search my heart. I am sorry for all the things I have done or failed to do that offended You. Make this day to be another opportunity and privilege to make You known. Help me to be more intentional in doing Your will and give You all the glory. Use me mightily to be part of Your Kingdom’s work. I ask this in Jesus’s Name amen.
