Q: How can I surrender my husband to God without being passive?
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thess 5:16-18 NIV
By actively praying unceasingly for my husband; getting closer to God finding my purpose, Joy, sufficiency, direction from Jesus;
forgiving husband every time remember offense and make advance decision to forgive even before new offense happens;
exercising due diligence expressing love in different love languages but doing everything for Jesus only and expecting from Jesus only, expecting zero (0) from husband. Meaning… being ok if husband does not respond or respond well.
Being firm in my faith and fixing my eyes on Jesus, persevering when trials come. Understand that it is specifically the trials that accomplish Gods purpose to mature us, make us complete not lacking anything. In other translations, “perfect” us.
