Abandoned to
Abundant
Prayer:

Lord,
We worship,
give You
praise and honour
You today for being
our Abba,
Father!
We know You,
our Abba,
are the King of
kings
and the
almighty and
powerful God!
You are indeed,
the King of all
glory and we,
Your daughters,
are loved by You!
In You,
there is nothing
we will want and
we will not have
lack of any good
thing, for You,
Our Father,
take care of
Your children.
We thank You
for Your love for
us and for
providing
for us even
before we ask.
Thank You,
Jehovah Jireh,
our provider!
Thank you for
our life. Thank
You
for the
forgiveness
of our sins
and the gift of
salvation
through faith
in Your son,
Jesus!
May You remind
us today through
Your daughter
Maricor Acenas
how You are a
loving Father
who provides
for His children.
Help us not to
focus on or
expect from
mere men who
we think
are obligated to
provide for us
but to see You as
the ultimate
provider
for our every
need.
As Jesus taught
us in Matthew 6,
that we are not
to worry about
our lives,
what we will eat
or drink;
or about our body,
what we will
wear,
for life is more
than food and
the body
is more than
clothes.
The birds of
the air
neither sow
nor reap or
store away
in barns,
and yet our
Heavenly Father
feeds them.
The Lord has shown
us that we are
much more
valuable
than they.
We are to seek
first Your
kingdom
and Your
righteousness
and all these
things
we worry about
will be given to us
as well.
We will not be
anxious for
anything
but in every
situation,
by prayer and
petition,
with thanksgiving,
we will present
our requests
to You.
So that Your
peace
which transcends
all understanding
will guard our
hearts and
our minds
in Christ Jesus.
We have Your
assurance,
Father,
in Jeremiah 32,
just like the
Israelites,
we will be Your
people and
You will
be our God.
You will make an
everlasting
covenant
with Your people
and will rejoice
in doing good
to us.
You inspire us
to have
a reverent fear
of You
so that we will
never turn away
from You.
Open my eyes,
Lord, so that I will
see the multitude
of blessings
You give me
every single day.
Give me faith
to see
the work that
You do
in my life and
the answers
You give to my
prayers. Teach me
to look around
and appreciate
the beauty in the
world You created
for us-
to see, to touch,
to hear, to taste
and to smell
all these.
Help me to
dwell more on
what I do have
rather than
the things I
don’t.
Help me to
choose to live
a life that
is pleasing to You,
my Abba, Father!
I am grateful:
Grateful for the
lessons in life
today that my
Abba allows
me to learn,
for it will make me
stronger tomorrow.
Grateful for the
provisions for
life,
the air I breathe,
food, clothing
and shelter.
Grateful for
my health, talents
and job
so that I may
have a steady
income.
Fill my mind and
heart with peace,
joy and
contentment and overwhelming
gratitude
for the
abundance
that You have
available for me.
I want to fall in
love with You more
with a heart
overflowing
with thankfulness.
Thank You for all
that You have
blessed me with.
In You,
I am not
abandoned
but blessed with
abundance!
I love You, Abba!
In Your son’s
name,
Jesus, we pray,
Amen!
