RC: My take away from Enduring Heart – the Glory of a Heavenly Hope
Not everything that matters to us is as important as its influence to our ultimate goal which is to be with Christ for eternity.
We can do away with pains and sufferings especially when they are from the seed of pride and entitlement. Before engaging with our husbands (or children and other people) let us consider the impact if it will glorify God or us. Even if the pain is real, we can surrender it to God and be confident that God will enable us to endure.
We can be sure that when we put our hope in God it will not be in vain for He is perfect and eternal. A loving and merciful, sovereign God who is in control, and best of all has our best interest at heart, we can be assured what He does is for our benefit.
Ang ating pagtitiis na kalugodlugod sa Diyos will be rewarded in small but meaningful ways for us to know He is pleased. The joy and peace that comes from obeying Him will be ours.
At moments of suffering, we will be comforted by God in ways far better than we expect or have experienced with our husbands or parents, for His way is perfect and great.
Committing to obey my God.
