Q: A good Christian friend suggested to me to have my husband investigated. Pasundan lang kung may ka live-in na siya. Kasi no one actually knows his exact address. Not even his mom has been to the condo unit he’s been renting for several months na.

Dear Sis, alam ni Lord saan husband mo [God knows where your husband is]. There is no place he can hide from Him.

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“You have searched him, Lord, and you know him. You know when he sits and when he rises; you perceive his thoughts from afar. You discern his going out and his lying down; you are familiar with all his ways. Before a word is on his tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

Where can he go from your Spirit? Where can he flee from your presence? If he goes up to the heavens, you are there; if he makes his bed in the depths, you are there. If he rises on the wings of the dawn, if he settles on the far side of the sea… If he says, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.” Psalms‬ ‭139:1-4, 7-9, 11-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Some principles here may apply and help you.

Let God deal with him.

Mas maganda use your money para magpaganda and for God’s kingdom (or better yet, in reverse order). Don’t waste on investigators. Mahal at pag nag-enter ng village that requires sticker, di na sila makakasunod. No refund yung P25k isang patak. For what?

The more you know, the harder for you to obey God. The slower you are to obey, the more hindrance to your prayer.

If you see photos and actual hard facts, they will haunt/ torment you for a long time and you can’t get rid of them even in your sleep.

Praying Psalm 32:8 for you in Jesus’s name

Remember, loved ones don’t want you to suffer that’s why they recommend stuff but they can be unwittingly used by the enemy to drive you farther away from God’s will. They show their care by saying something without consulting God’s will in His word.

Please answer this, Sis: what is Jesus teaching you thru this passage when someone who loves Him (Peter) told him, “Never shall you suffer!”):

“Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16:23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Christian” can be loosely used
to refer to a person whose body enters a Christian church.

A more reliable defining factor for seeking counsel is a “Jesus Follower” who seeks Gods will thru His word.🙏🙏🙏 Yet, even Peter who was a Jesus follower who personally walked with Jesus—- when he wasn’t yet led by His Word, uttered words completely opposed to God’s will.

Seek to know the concerns of God in His Word.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
