Is Anger A Loving Response to Anything That Threatens What We Cherish?

Q: Is this biblical? “ Anger is the loving response to anything that threatens what we cherish.”

Dear Sis, praise God that for those who are oppressed (not the nagger though), the God who promises to avenge is a righteous judge.

“God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day.” Psalms‬ ‭7:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Let’s continue to look to Scripture to interpret Scripture.

“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,

because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:19-21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

““In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:26-27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4:1-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister, will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘ Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sis, it’s better and less confusing to go directly to God’s word for guiding principles. Quotes from people are like eating chewed up/ spit up food.
