Yes, You Can Fully Love Even the Unloveable

It’s easy for us to consider others as unloveable. How loveable are we? Do we exude love? Are we the perfect aroma of Christ, consistently Christlike, the bearer and dispenser of His love who always gives love regardless of others’ mind heart spirit condition?

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus was beaten/ maligned/scourged/ crucified for us while we were yet rebelling opposing/ mocking/ throwing our fists against/ spitting on Him with our rebellion/ stiff-neck/ bright ideas…

“All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” Eph‬ ‭2:3-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We deserved judgment but were given mercy and love.

“In the same way, even though God has the right to show his anger and his power, he is very patient with those on whom his anger falls, who are destined for destruction. He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those to whom he shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭9:22-23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we are unworthy, do we want God’s judgment or love?

God is love.
God never fails.
You are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Christ in you, the hope of glory..
.
Phil 2:13 For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
.
Therefore you can love. And love never fails.
Substitute the blanks below with Your Name:
.
“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

________is patient, _______is kind.

_______ does not envy, _______does not boast, _______is not proud.

_______does not dishonor others,

_______is not self-seeking,

_______ is not easily angered,

_______keeps no record of wrongs.

_______does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

_______ always protects,

_______always trusts,

_______always hopes,

_______always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.

When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.

Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:1-13‬ ‭NIV‬‬
