Q: Sis, when I discover more and more lies I tremble with fear and anger with what he is doing… Okay lang if he is not a professing Christian.

Dear Sis,
God wants you to be victorious over your circumstances and over ALL the power of the enemy.
“I have given you authority… to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19 NIV
I will share with you again some of God’s secrets to victory.
God will make us account only for our own walk. “Did we obey God’s commands?”
He will not ask us, “Did your husband or his daughter or other women and other people obey My commands?” Because that’s for God to deal with. He is perfectly able and is immeasurably better at it.
When you fix your eyes on husband or other people instead of Jesus, it prevents you from being faithful in your own walk which is the accountability you are supposed to guard.
Your job: Obey God
God’s job: everything else including dealing with the disobedient. (You don’t want to be among the disobedient He promises to deal with).
God is in control.
Unless you are the one hindering His work because you think what you do, say, worry about, concentrate on, or the forgiveness you do not grant those who hurt you has any bearing on the improvement of your situation (in other words, you think you are in control).
“Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.”
Galatians 6:1 NIV
If instead of concentrating your efforts on being consistently Christlike- a proven formula that brings unbelievers to Christ—- you choose self-righteousness, keeping a record of wrongs, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness… you will be the one who will end up opposing God—- which is not our goal.
If we are not following Jesus, we are not a Christ-follower.
No one is righteous for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23) but a genuine believer, thought not sinless but who has the Holy Spirit will be convicted, repent, turn away from sin and sin less and less and less. Not sinless but will sin less.
If someone says they are Christians but are continuously living in sin,
that is an unbeliever.
“No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.”
1 John 3:6 NIV
If someone is an unbeliever, you win that person over without words by your gentle respectful chaste behaviour (Christlikeness ang uwi). 1 Peter 3. Pls memorise this sis.
Praying for clarity, understanding, and victory for you.
